The above video is one that I made for my San Antonio Chiropractic office website to explain the ProAdjuster. The ProAdjuster is a relatively new system that uses a piezo-electric circuit that converts mechanical information into electrical information that is then read by a computer. Essentially, the ProAdjuster measures joint movement at each joint and gives the doctor a comparison of the patient’s spinal joints to normal movement characteristics. It also enables the doctor to compare one joint to another in the same patient, which is sometimes very useful since there can be considerable variation from one person to another and “normal” for the “average” patient is not always normal for a particular patient.
Once the analysis of the spinal joints is completed, the doctor can then use either the ProAdjuster’s built-in treatment mode, or can employ any number of other chiropractic and soft-tissue treatment methods. When using the treatment mode of the ProAdjuster, the computer analyzes the motion characteristics of the joints to be treated (with the information obtained from the diagnostic mode) and sets an ideal frequency of ”taps” to vibrate the joint back into more normal movement. This allows for an extremely safe and gentle form of chiropractic treatment that many patients prefer to more conventional methods of chiropractic treatment. It also allows the doctor to treat patients who are too fragile or pain-sensitive for manual adjustments due to conditions like osteoporosis or severe arthritis.
While the ProAdjuster is not ideal for every case, it provides an excellent method of musculoskeletal treatment for many patients, including those who are too fearful or too fragile for other types of chiropractic treatment.

Awesome! Made me want to go to San Antonio. But since I’m in the mid-west, I clicked on your link to the ProAdjuster website and found an office in my area that has the ProAdjuster. Have an appointment tomorrow - I’ll let you know how it goes!

I’m back. This thing is awesome.
My nearly constant headache is about 90% less than usual. The herniated/bulging disk area of my lower back hurts about 90% less, and my midback problems are less too.
All after 1 treatment. My carpel tunnel numbness did flare up last night, but I was much more relaxed in my sleep. I think that will go away after more treatment in my neck area.
As my new chiropractor keeps saying “welcome to the 21st century!”
